What is a Fractional Chief Human Resources Officer?

A fractional Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is an executive-level position responsible for overseeing an organization’s human resources and talent functions. Also known as Chief People Officer (CPO), this role is a blend of strategic growth, cost containment, people strategies, HR processes, and culture development. In overseeing every aspect of HR work, a CHRO is in charge of hiring, onboarding, managing, developing, performance coaching, mentoring, and retaining employees.

He built the leadership program for CDI; performed Executive Coaching at Lowe's and AWS; is a certified Mentor and Facilitator from Amazon; drove Customer Satisfaction Scores to an all-time high of 97% for 24 consecutive months at Lowe's; has built, motivated and managed high-performing teams of 8 to 223 in all 50 states and 6 countries; has managed P&L up to $80M; grew YoY revenue to over 200% for 48 clients for multiple years; led talent acquisition teams globally; produced over $5.2M in Executive Search placements; created succession planning tools, continuous improvement programs, learning & development workshops, and led employee engagement for AWS; created retention programs, talent acquisition and talent management models, and performance development workshops; is an experienced people leader that can enable and inspire others; talent executive with high EQ and creative problem solving; holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification; and is a Certified Personnel Consultant. Mark is available for fractional Chief People Officer or Chief Talent Officer assignments globally.
